Quebec Residents Releves

Please note that the following changes impact Quebec residents.

We have changed the way we manage the mapping between the federal TSlips and the provincial releves.

Previously, the mapping was Tslip[1] to RL[1], for example T4A[1] is linked to RL1[1] and T4[1] is also end up in the same RL[1].

Starting Studio tax 2022, The software finds the next empty RL to add the new TSlip data. So, for example, T4A[1] is filled first so it's going to be linked to RL1[1] and then T4[1] is going to be linked to RL1[2].

This new feature does not concern RL1s only but it's valid for all the RLs.

We have created an exapmle to illustrate this new mapping:

We have a T4A[1]

t4a[1]

The software created RL[1]

RL1[1]

Now we have added a T4[1] that got linked to RL1[2]:

T41rl1[2]

We have also added T4A[2], si it created a RL2[1]

Tt4a2rl2[1]

When we add a TP4(P)[1], it went to the next empty RL2 which is RL[2]

t4ap[1]rl2[2]

Unlinking the releves from the federal TSlips

Since we have made this change, we have added the possibility to unlink any releve from the federal TSlip. you just need to select yes at the box like illustrated in the following screen capture:

unlink rl1

You can also unlink all the releves from the federal tslips with one single button:

unlink All

This way, the software copying is dasabled and all the boxes of all RLs are open for editing.

Therefore, you can fill manually all your data just make sure to check the totals.
